Philips Nino 210 Handheld 8MB Windows CE
Manufacturer's Model # Nino 210
This product is Brand New.
Nino keeps you up to date
when you're on the go. Access your important information with this lightweight, pen-based
personal companion. Nino's unique ergonomic design allows one-handed operation, or you can
go hands-free with voice commands. Since it's based on the Windows® CE operating system,
it integrates seamlessly with your familiar desktop applications. Nino is the affordable,
efficient way to access Internet Information Services and keep track of schedules,
contacts, tasks, and e-mail. Everything you need. Everywhere you go.
Backlit, touch screen display, with 4 shades of gray (0.24mm dot pitch). It's quite clear
and sharp- WinCE units' grayscale displays have improved remarkably over the past 2 years.
Battery life is claimed to be 8 hours of actual use on AA alkaline batteries. It does
include an AC adapter.
Nino has 8 Megs of RAM and an NEC MIPS processor running at 75MHz. Subjectively, it feels
quite zippy. BSquare, a WinCE 3rd party software maker has recently come up with benchmark
tools similar to those used on PCs.
Nino shines here! It has voice recording which allows the user to save recorded files in
compressed WinCE format or WAV, for later use on your PC. The built-in speaker is loud
enough to be heard in an office environment, and there's a headphone jack which can drive
headphones and a cassette input adapter.
Microsoft Windows CE applications including Notetaker, Calendar, Tasks, Active Desktop,
Inbox and VoiceRecorder.
