How does it work? How do I make a call?

It can be used to place your call from any phone in North America including Pay Phone, Campus Phone, and Cell Phone by using 1-800 (or 1-888) Toll-Free access numbers given by us. Enter the PIN you received in the E-mail, then, dial your destination number, e.g., 1 + area code + phone number to call Domestic, or 011+ Country code and city code + Phone number to call international and followed by #. Having done it this way, you can always control the expense.

Why don't I just use my long distance carrier?

Yes, you may if they provide you similar or better rate than we do, which is very unlikely to happen. However, if you look into your long distance bills (even those 10-10-XXX numbers) you can see Federal Tax, State Tax, State Special Tax and County Tax, which can be as high as 10% depending on where you are. They also charge you all types of charges they can think of, say Monthly Charge, Late Charge and Universal Service Fund Charges that cost you another 7-10% of what your actual calls cost!!!

Did you know that in-state calls cost many times more than inter-state calls? Our pre-paid phone card rates are flat throughout the country. Unless specified otherwise, 15% FCC tax applies.

How much do I save using your prepaid calling cards?

Saving on those charges and taxes alone is already 20% of your actual calls charged by those carriers!! What else can you ask for? Fortunately, our rates clearly beat every possible long distance carrier in the US, and that can be another 50% saving. Besides, local access numbers will also save you 2 cents/minute and this could be another 30% saving. You could have saved 80% already!

Why is there a connection fee on some cards?

As you may have noticed, the rates of the cards with connection fee are relatively and significantly lower than those that do not have connection fee. This is for the network service provider to compensate the cost of low-rate long calls (as we normally make) by charging more to short call callers.

Our recommendation is to use the card without connection fee to make sure that the person you would like to talk to is present, then ask the person to hang up and switch to the lower rate card with connection fee to continue your long talk. If you start out with the card with connection fee, and the answering machine picks up, you will lose that connection fee for nothing.

Can I make a call from outside of the USA?

Yes, you may place a call by dialing our special toll-free numbers from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan, and Canada with a reduced surcharge from regular toll-free numbers. Now, you can also place calls from Australia. Access numbers are shown above.
